Is your company looking for skilled trade labor?

If you own a company or work for a company that is finding it more and more difficult to find good trainable people interested in putting in a hard days work -- then you are not alone! Since there has been a significant emphasis put on getting kids into college, the skills gap grows wider every day.

Not everyone is cut out for a 4 year degree. Like Mr. Mike Rowe has stated over and over "America is lending money it doesn't have to kids who can't pay it back to train them for jobs that no longer exist. That's Nuts."

If they make it to graduation they owe so much loan debt it can take them 1/2 their working years to pay back if they can actually get a job in their field. There is collectively 1.5 trillion in unpaid student loans owned in America today.

But it doesn't need to be this way. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics 7 million jobs are available in the US, the majority of them do not require a 4 year degree. All it takes is a little hard work and for a kid to not be afraid of getting their hands dirty.

Wrenching For The Future is a 501c3 charity who's mission is to provide high school students with a focused opportunity to learn hands-on trade skills in a practical application setting. Wrenching For The Future believes by promoting skilled labor trades in lieu of traditional 4 year college we show a pathway to consistent, higher-paying employment in high demand fields or self-employment/business ownership to give youth options for a career.

Working with high schools or technical schools and building a Rat Rod in 7 days allows us to get in front of the kids and let them try things that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to. We also hope to encourage high schools to bring back programs and classes that were once a norm but are now non-existent.

There are opportunities for your company to be involved in the Wrenching for the Future program, with options for product donations, monetary sponsorships and marketing trade-outs. All contributions go directly toward enhancing the experience for the students and schools, while also providing excellent marketing exposure for your company through social media and print media.
